As a classically trained concert violinist, Samuel performs on violin and viola in orchestral/chamber concerts, musicals, and operas. Most recently he played viola in the 2026 Music Festival Palouse in Moscow, ID, in a concert celebrating the 250th anniversary of the USA, where he performed in the North American premiere of Dr. David Deboor Canfield’s “Concerto After Elgar.”

He has performed in various orchestras and groups in WA, ID, and NY including The Houghton Symphonic Orchestra and Collegiate Musicum Moscow, and has played in the pit orchestra with music theater groups including Waymaker Arts and The Oaks Theatre.
